Iron Man 3: The Gwyneth Paltrow Interview

Gwyneth Paltrow has been in the news nonstop over the last six weeks for things like her $450,000 spring wardrobe suggestions, selling string bikinis for little girls on her site goop, and talking about her bushy bikini line. Yep, she's a pop culture headliner.

I had the opportunity to interview Paltrow during the Iron Man 3 press junket for iVillage. I actually found her completely the opposite of what those headlines assumed about her. She answered all of my questions openly and honestly as she sat with her shoes off and relaxed in her chair.

You can see the article my iVillage colleague Ali Gray wrote about this interview here.

Watch the interview and let me know what you think!  See Part 2 here.

New Adventures With SheKnows.com

I've been hinting at new adventures a lot lately.  Normally, I would be with my Toyota team gearing up for another season of Toyota Live.  This year, I am staying put in Los Angeles to cover all things entertainment.  A new season brings new changes and I alluded to some of the changes last week.

Well, I can officially announce that I am joining the SheKnows.com team as a trending entertainment writer.  I will be posting daily news stories about the hottest scoop in entertainment.  I will let you know when my first story posts, but you can find SheKnows entertainment here or on Twitter or Facebook.  I will, of course, cross post all of the articles on my social media sites to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find me.  So, you will see a lot more entertainment news coming your way.

I have a few more tricks up my sleeve, so make sure to watch this space for more announcements. Thank you all for your support over the last year, it's been a fun ride so far!

Don't forget, I will be on Driving with Gass tonight at 7:35PM PT/9:35PM ET on KWSS. org or 106.7FM in Phoenix talking about the weekend's hottest entertainment news.

Top 3 London Games Moments

Happy Weekend, everyone!  I will go back to my regularly scheduled blogging and entertainment news on Monday.  It's been a crazy two weeks of the London Games and it has been a blast covering them for you.  Today, we talked about our favorite moments of the Olympics.  My top moment involved gymnastics, but it wasn't Gabby Douglas or the Team Gold. You will have to check out our broadcast to see what it was:

Guest:  XiXi Yang of PopStop TV

6:30PM PT/9:30PM ET Behind the Red Carpet Live on Spreecast
7PM PT/10 PM ET London Games Wrap-Up with Stuart Brazell on Spreecast

Behind The Red Carpet Live: Hank Chen

Tonight's Behind the Red Carpet Live on Spreecast was filled with hot topics so I knew I had to have my guest, YouTube personality, Hank Chen, come on with me.  I wrote an article, "Coming Out In Hollywood", that was syndicated by several sites.  We broke down why TV stars are more apt to come out versus movie stars.  Is it any of our business or do they owe it to the younger generation to come out?  Watch the show and let me know what you think.

Hit me up on Twitter, Facebook, or in the comments below.

My Life In Instagram

It's Thursday, so I thought I would update you on what's been going on in my little world.  I swear, I've done more than just covering entertainment news and the Olympics this week. Here is my week in photos all courtesy of Instagram:  @KristynBurtt

At my annual musical theatre geeks outing to the Hollywood Bowl with Annie and Pip.

My favorite shoes from my trip to Paris last year.

Me, Pip, and my favorite Crabby!  (You remember him from my trip to Paris, right?)

Obsessed with my ShoeDazzle shoes.  My friend, Amber, had a hot pair from ShoeDazzle too!

My pal, Tabitha Blue, is running a fun Instagram #PROJECTlipstick challenge.  Dig out those old tubes and show off some sexy lips.  This was my Wednesday color:  e.l.f. Rosy Tan.  Visit Tabitha's site for more info and some fun giveaways!

I have the best friends in the world.  My friend, Cindy, wanted to make sure I was eating well while I am running all over town. She made a "Host-On-The-Go" pack for me.  All gluten-free items too!  Thanks, Cindy, I'm so lucky to have friends like you.

Disclosure:  Shoes c/o ShoeDazzle.  Lipstick c/o e.l.f.  All opinions are my own.

Behind The Red Carpet: I Need Your Questions!

I've been writing a lot about what happens behind the scenes in Hollywood from sources to press junkets to reality that isn't reality.  I've decided to take this series to video form and answer your questions.  I'll be doing a short video each and every Wednesday to give you an up-close and exclusive look at Hollywood. I will take a look at urban myths and find out whether they are true or false, but I can't do it without you!

Send me your questions in the comments section below or on Facebook, Twitter, Google +, or if you are shy and want to keep your question private, contact me here.

If your question is used in my first episode, I will send you a fun gift from the prize closet.  So start sending me your questions.........NOW!  I can't wait to see what you have in store for me.

If you want today's inside scoop and entertainment news, I will be on Driving with Gass tonight at 7:35PM PT/10:35PM ET.  You can listen in at 106.7FM in Arizona or online at KWSS.org.
